The short version

• Some outbound links on TravelVulture are affiliate links.
• If you book through one, the provider may pay us a commission.
• This never changes the price you pay.
• Commissions never change our rankings or recommendations.

How TravelVulture makes money

TravelVulture is free to use. Some of the booking sites we link to have approved us as an affiliate, currently including Aviasales, Klook, Tiqets, DiscoverCars, and SafetyWing. When you complete a booking through one of those links, that company pays us a referral commission. Other sites we link to purely because they are useful for comparison; those links earn us nothing. This is the standard affiliate model used across the travel industry, and it is our primary source of revenue.

The price you pay is set entirely by the booking partner and is the same whether you arrive from TravelVulture or go to their site directly.

What commissions never affect

• Rankings. Destinations are ranked by how well they match your budget, dates, travelers, and interests, never by which partner pays us more.
• Cost estimates. The trip-cost breakdowns we show are our own independent estimates, not partner-supplied advertising prices.
• Savings tips. Our "stretch your budget" suggestions sometimes point to options that earn us nothing (free museum days, walking tours, booking direct). We show them anyway.

How to spot affiliate links

Any link that takes you to an external booking site may be an affiliate link. Outbound links carry a tv_ref parameter we use for our own click analytics, and partner links may include the partner's tracking parameter. Neither identifies you personally, see our Privacy Policy for details on what partners do and don't receive.

Estimates are not provider quotes

TravelVulture may show planning estimates using provider-published or partner-supplied prices, government or market benchmarks, currency conversion, historical pricing information, and disclosed planning adjustments. These estimates are intended to help you plan and compare options. They are not a binding quote from a provider. A provider's current written quote or checkout price is the authoritative price for the service you purchase.

For medical journeys: treatment estimates can change after clinical review, diagnostics, treatment-plan changes, medication, complications, length of stay, or other patient-specific factors.
