- •Dental and cosmetic clinics are not JCI-accredited the way hospitals are, verify a clinic differently: confirm the dentist's registration with the national dental chamber, ask for before/after cases and written itemised quotes, and check independent review volume.
- •If you are EU-insured, contact your home insurer about the Cross-Border Healthcare Directive (reimbursement) or a Portable Document S2 (prior authorisation) before you travel, rules and coverage vary by country and treatment.
- •Get the full written treatment plan and total price in advance, and ask what the aftercare / guarantee terms are if you need adjustments once home.
