About Marrakech
Set below the Atlas Mountains in central Morocco, with a walled medina of souks and riad guesthouses at its core and newer districts such as Gueliz outside the walls. The medina is walkable and largely closed to cars, so most people stay within it and use taxis for the rest. Menara airport sits close to the center. Summer is very hot, winter mild, and spring and autumn the comfortable months.
